Below you will find clear answers to the most frequently asked questions, so that you know exactly what to expect and can start your adventure well informed.

Costs & Finances

  • Depending on which model you choose, a fully equipped and built-in Overland camper costs between €120,000 and €200,000, including VAT and BPM.

  • No, but we do have some customers who rent out their buses. Please contact us for the possibilities.

  • Yes. After installation, you will need to file a BPM tax return and apply for a new license plate and special road tax rate. The exact amount depends on the model, year of manufacture, and version you choose. You can check this with the Tax and Customs Administration.

  • In the Netherlands, third-party liability insurance is mandatory. With (limited) comprehensive coverage, damage to your own motorhome is also covered. Many of our customers are insured with Safetrip (https://safetrip.nl/) and the NKC (https://www.nkc.nl/verzekeringen/).

Vehicle

  • Yes, we do! We have an exclusive partnership with Mercedes‑Benz and deliver new Mercedes Sprinters (4×4) directly to our customers.

  • Absolutely! Delivering a used Mercedes Sprinter is part of our Scout model. Please contact us to discuss the possibilities.

  • In addition to the standard front seats, up to 4 additional seats are optional.

Construction & Materials

  • Approximately two months after the start of construction.  

  • We use sustainable, lightweight, and natural materials: birch wood, sheep's wool, UV- and stain-resistant fabrics, Armaflex, paperstone; and technology with A-brand certified products.

  • On average, delivery time is approximately 6 months. Sometimes we can deliver a demo model directly from stock. Please contact us to discuss the possibilities.

  • The complete installation weighs 450 kg. The total weight (bus + installation + external parts) is approximately 3 to 3.3 tons. Additional seats may increase the weight.

  • We work with an extensive range of fabrics, allowing you to fully personalize your interior.

Technology & Facilities

  • With the basic setup, the camper can stay off-grid in one spot for at least 4 days without sun. And as soon as you start driving again or the sun comes out, the batteries will recharge.

  • Yes. Optionally, you can install a hydronic system for hot water and warm air heating, powered by diesel from the tank – completely independent.

  • Yes. Accessories such as roof racks, drawer systems, and ladders can be supplied and installed. Interior components (kitchen units, wall cabinets) are exclusively for customers with complete installation.

  • Yes. Turntables are installed based on requirements and approval by the RDW.

  • Yes. Please contact us for the possibilities.

  • Yes, definitely! There are various options for the toilet. It can be stored in the pouf, under the bed, or in the galley. Any type of toilet will fit here, such as a porta potty or a compost toilet.

  • Yes, indeed! All our models come with a wonderful outdoor shower as standard.

    We also offer the option of installing an indoor shower. Please contact us to discuss the possibilities.

Laws & Regulations

  • Yes. Thanks to its built-in features, the Overland camper meets all the requirements for a commercial vehicle. This means that the camper can also be used for business purposes.

  • Of course!

  • Yes, we provide the entire homologation process in Belgium.  

  • Yes, we provide the entire homologation process in Germany.
